I have tried all I can thing of to strike the ball and nothing works consistently. Game developers need to try something better than this!

Sorry you're not getting things to work - believe me most of us here have all been through it. It's not easy!! Takes a lot of practise, but it's worth it.

All I can reiterate is the sweetspot is the key to a good strike and reliable direction.

Slow the mouse speed down to start with - fast mouse speed does not equate to a fast swing and a stronger strike.

Check mouse settings - mine is set to 0.4, but you need to set it to whichever setting gives you the most control.

The swing mode and method is the core part of the game and is unlikely to change!

Well, the swing may not change, but it is still way too difficult. If you don't make it easier you are going to wind up with no one playing your game.

Agree, don't know why but hard to get speed through the ball, behaves like it´s lagging even though it´s not. Making a consistent move with mouse to hit but it kind of breaks speed halfway through swing and no power when inpacting ball, resulting in a 50 meter drive, really frustrating.
Otherwise I like it, not as easy as TW online with prewiews and such garbage.
Seems it won't be finished anytime though, considering that nothing happens with development, really a shame.
